MADIS Data Volume
The volume of data varies based on the status of all of the thousands of different stations for all of the datasets, so the user should take this into account when reserving disk space. The volume of data can also vary based on restricted versions of some of the datasets. Also, several mesonets are added every year, so that data volume can be particularly volatile.
